I was the moderator on these forums for many years. It was nice to see it back up. I had to re-register and it would not let me use my old user name saying it was already taken. As it wound down most of what I did was simply delete spam, which the site got in spades.

In any event now that it is back, and hopefully sees much more use I will get back to checking in from time to time. I really would like to get back to using my old user name.

Enjoy you day.

wove, you're back! That's just awesome! We just had Lichen Software drop by two days ago. So cool to see old S7T'ers are still around! :-)

You should be able to use your old wove account, everything got transfered. You will, however, need to use the "forgot my password" function to set a new one. (we decided to force a password change for security reasons)

If you don't have access to your old e-mail anymore, let me know and we'll figure something out.

In any case, great to have you back! :)

I checked in every day for years and System7Today has always been in my browsers "favorites bar". My log-in was still saved in my browser stuff, but it did not work. I gave the "I forgot my password" a try but it said the email I provided was no longer associated with the account. So I just went ahead and started a new account.

It is good to see the site back to fully functional. There were many times when I would seem people make reference to material from this site. There are many great articles and the forums are full of tips, and instructions and anecdotes of the old Mac systems.

Hey Bill, just send a pm to Bolkonskij or any of the other admins with your current email and you should be able to get the password reset email. When I did it they were experiencing issues with the password reset server so it took a number of tries even after I provided my email addy. Hopefully that issue won't popup again :o

I can update your old account with your new email address so you can reset the password and use it again. I can set the old accounts email address to the same one as your new account has. Just give us a shout and it will get fixed.

And welcome back! :)
