Author Network Time Issues? (Read 9200 times)

Hey folks,

Noticed on my kids' Performa 5215 that Network Time suddenly quit working.

What initially happened was that the Performa got disconnected from the internet due to some network changes. When I reconnected, the time was off. Network time can "verify" that time.apple.com is a server, but it throws me an error when I try to update my time.

Curious if it is something else in the system configuration. It used to work.

I am running OS 8.1 on that machine, by the way.

Anyone else having any issues with Network Time?

Network time has stopped working for me too with the same URL.

I guess Apple has changed something on the data format that is sent back by the server.

I just stopped using network time and bought a new battery for the clock. :)
