Hi, I installed AppleShare IP 5.0.2 on my 8500 (Mac OS 7.6.1) which went without a hitch. But after I rebooted I noticed that none of the items in the Apple Menu that should have flyouts (control panel, recent apps, recent docs, etc) don't anymore. So I fired up extension manager and was warned about a missing item, Apple Menu Options. I poked around the hard drive and can't find it. Anyone else run into this issue? What is the best way to restore that missing item? Thanks, Doug |

Freezing the Apple Menu Options control panel with AppleShare IP 5 was a known issue with AppleShare. I believe that with 5.0.2 Apple corrected this problem by disabling/removing Apple Menu Options. You will probably need to dig through an OS installer CD, or another system to find the missing control panel and move it to your AppleShare IP system. Of course it might also make your AppleShare IP install unstable. bill
