I've got a Power Mac 7600/180 with my old Radeon Mac Edition card installed. Able to get video output on both VGA and DVI ports. However, I can only get it to do 1600x1200. When I select 1920x1080 a picture appears for a brief second then stays out for five or 10 seconds. It flashes back for maybe a quarter second and goes black again. Any ideas?

I've selected both 1920x1080 at 60Hz and at 0Hz (the one where it doesn't provide a refresh rate) and both cause the same problem.

I am assuming the Radeon Card you are referring to is the Radeon 7000. I do not believe that 1920X1080 is a native supported display resolution for that card.

Dan has created a resolution manager which may allow you to set that resolution. I think you need to use some caution when using this utility.
