This is germane in that many of us are keeping OS X 10.4 systems going as a bridge to classic operating systems or instead of 10.5 and 10.6 so that will have access to classic on a newer mac. FireFox 4 draws a line in the sand at OS 10.5/Intel processor. Cameron Kaiser, author of Classilla has reworded the code for G3/4/5 machines running 10.4 or 10.5. He is calling it TenFourFox http://www.tenfourfox.com/ I have been playing with it. Seems very fast on my machine. I figured people here might want to know about it. |

I've been using it a little today. Seems very speedy on the G5. Another Great job by Cameron.

Yup, I'm really finding it to be the best browser all-round on my G4 1.25GHz iBook. Still a little bit heavy to load, but acceptably responsive once running. They've done a really good job on it!

It is my main browser since discovering it two weeks ago. Before I used the last version of firefox but this is more speedier!
