At work, the software product I support is on version 7.  (Specifically 7.7.1.)  It is not a Macintosh product.  It is a high-end UNIX and Windows server product.

I just got a new trouble ticket whose title is "Help upgrading from 7.0.1 to 7.6.1."

I immediately thought "Why is one of my customers asking about ancient MacOS versions?"

Haha that's funny... what's the product you have to upgrade?

It's the company I work for's product, Tripwire.  (Specifically the product Tripwire Enterprise.)

I do tech support.  Thankfully, given the nature of the product, I usually get very technically-competent customers.
