Hi everyone using the Real Mac operating systems 7,8,9. I have progressed from 7 to 9, and don't really feel that I will be leaving this arena too quickly. Everything stated on this site is true, the original Mac operating system far excels more recent offerings. I don't have time in my life to back up 20 or so 4 gigabyte dvds every night, just for pretty pictures and 128 bit icon graphics, does anyone? I don't have time to stare at a blank page loading 4 megabytes of java scripts for a letter of 1000 words, does anyone? I am wondering when microsoft are going to bail out of the planet, having nicked the term system 7 for the platform. I am sure apple will win about that one. I would like to start the year as I mean to continue: I was never a fellow to pussy foot about! For me that is a New year complete with all the ole Apple aquaintances I know and love, I was never too fond of calling Apple user fellows one big X rated operating system, so I won't bother to even go there to a big Mac OS X of a system, and I am sure everything will just continue as good and appley as always. So, what is new? Why bother to even post here to you fellows? Well I recently have updated the SolitiarePD game I wrote a long while ago, it offers better handling and I have introduced a time measurement facility, so people can play off against the clock, once you have solved the puzzle. And now it is free to download, and use, so have some fun. Anyone can enjoy the game. http://archive.info-mac.org/game/crd/solitaire-pd.sit This game should be good for Apple users of Mac OS until around Christmas 2040, I am hoping for a date and time extension release for the system at that date, but I will be taking time out for a 3 month holiday, around that period of time, probably near some kind of geothermal spar, researching fossils, and all sorts in my old age. I have every confidence of returning to brighten the place up again, but that won't be until after about 3 month, that is easter that year 2040-2041.
