Maybe there should be implemented a CAPTCHA on the user registration to get rid of the spam bots :)
I can't remember it had any.

Doh. I just checked, and it had a CAPTCHA AND a big red message. heh. Is this added just recently? :)

I think MacOS9Today.com would probably be more appropriate.

I’ve just recently noticed a new type of spam where newly registered users are copying old posts and then re-posting them again. Makes it hard to spot right away since at first glance it looks semi-related and on-topic because naturally it was copied from elsewhere on System 7 Today.

It’s a never ending battle :(

Is it why Reeta's message doesn't really mean anything in this thread? It is tricky to spot indeed. I guess those spams have to be removed manually?
