Hi i'm Adrien from Montpellier, in south of France not in Vermont... I am very happy to find a website like this one, because i'm a huge fan of old mac, i have few (from mac plus to Cube G4). But my "heart" go to system 7 because it was my first contact with computing when i was 7 or 8 on a LCII. And also because it has the simplest and best design interface i know, including os x .1 .2 .3 .4 and .5, or very simple interfaces on linux. I like it because it fast and remind me play on prince of persia and drawing on kid pix the best graphic software, even if illustrator CS4 is a little bit more professional... I'm student in art, interest in music, and electronic, and i also use my powerbook 5300c for work, what i realy like is the synth voice, there is some pretty cool sounds in this thing... My dream: a powerbook 5XX with max/msp on system 7.6 of course. Thanks for this great site. |
