Anyone of you have A/UX installed and running? As server prehaps? Tell us the pros and cons about it if you have any experience. |

I wish. Do you have installation media for it?

I have it running on a clock-chipped 36MHz Q800. It works well on that system; the Q800 is the fastest Mac, in fact, that can run it (since the AVs can't). You'll need to add some of the jagubox software to make a meaningful system, and a great deal of current code won't compile on it, even with gcc 2.7. But a lot of older source code will work fine. The chief problem with using it (at least in the A/UX Finder) is that few, if any, video accelerators work, so it's not nearly as snappy as System 7 by itself even on a system this comparatively quick.
