I had this 1400 for a few weeks now. The keyboard was just fine, until suddenly today it started tweaking out. Now 4/5, R/T, F/G, and V/B trigger together (meaning if I press R, it'll end up as RT. Same as if I press V, it'll appear as VB). Notice that it's all in a neat line from top to bottom. What's up, and how do I fix that?

Sounds like your keyboard may have become loose.  Flip it up and check tha the cable is still plugged into the motherboard directly beneath it.

And be careful not to cut the cables doing so.

It's relativley easy on special older ones, and I don't know how robust the 1400's are.

I would classify essentially every part of the 1400 as "very robust"
