And anything else! I just acquired an SE. I don't have an ethernet adapter for it, so no way to get it online. It's running System 6.1.8. Everything seems to work, but the main way to get stuff off of it and onto it is via floppy disk. That's fine, but nothing I've tried works. I bought a USB floppy drive, but OSX doesn't recognize it unless the disks are IBM-formatted to begin with, and then, anything I format it *to* is unrecognized by the SE. The SE wants to reformat anything I have. I have a 7300/200 Power Macintosh running OS9.1. I can't seem to format any disks in a way that both of these computers will be happy with. Any ideas? I'd be fine with "downgrading" the 7300 to 7.5, but I don't know how to do so from a burned disk. Oh, and the 7300 is online, which is why it'd be a good liaison between the SE and my G5. Thank you! |

You can use a Mac serial cable between the SE and the PM7300 to establish an AppleTalk connection. You will then be able to transfer files from the SE to the 7300 and from there you can transfer them on to other machines. Three Macs and a Printer should provide the basics needed. bill
