Hey Dan,

Hope things are well. I just got 7.6.1 up and running on an 8500/120 that I rescued... It's been tricked out with a 180MHz 604e and a 10k 5GB SCSI drive.

I used your Netscape 4.8 installer. On first launch, it reported that "netscape.cfg" was missing from the Essential Files folder and froze. On subsequent launches, it will launch only if TCP/IP is NOT set to Ethernet/DHCP. Otherwise, it crashes. Deleting prefs starts the whole process over.

I haven't had this problem on my 8600 or 9600 back home, but that was in November 2006 - could have been a different installer? Is this file supposed to be in the install package?

Thanks for your help.

We haven't changed any of our installers.  It should be simply download unstuff and go.
