This past weekend I found someone selling an Apple Workgroup Server 80 for a fairly good price. This guy had it stash in his shed with a Beige G3 and a bunch of PCs. I rescued both of them.  After taking it apart a bit to clean the dust out it booted right up. Now I'm wondering whether all AWS80s were sold with AppleShare and other software that theorectically I should have a license for, though I couldn't prove it. From everything I can find out it should have shipped with AppleShare 4.0.1 and System 7.1. Anyone know for sure what this model shipped with? I found out that A/UX 3.0.1 was default on the AWS95, not the AWS80. Anyway, any insight would be great. |
