I stumbled across the following (freeware) utility which gives an OSX like dock for classic Mac. http://jerome.foucher.free.fr/ADock/ADock.html Unfortunately requirements are OS 8.5+. Anyone know of something similar for OS 7.6.1 ? |

That's really neat. You already have the application menu to show what apps are open and to show and hide open apps. To me this is actually better than a dock as it stays out of the way of available screen real estate. For a repository of all applications, try making a folder on your desk top and putting alias's of each app there. Then they are instantly available at all times without digging and best of all, they will always stay in the background unless you call them up, again preserving your screen real estate for open apps.
