This is a link to a video showing installing a Mac system 6 emulator on an new OS X machine and then upgrading that installation to System 7.1.

For anyone into emulators, the side bar is it is showing sources for Mac roms etc.

Enjoy

After watching the video I was inspired to install mini vMac on my intel iMac. Installed 7.5.3 on it. Neat, but not terribly useful because it emulates a 68000 processor machine though.

Luckily, Low End Mac does have a page dedicated to listing software that runs on those machines.
