I have two original Mac OS 8 install CD's and no original Mac OS 7.6 install CD's. I'd like to trade one of my original Mac OS 8 CD's for an original Mac OS 7.6 CD to fill out my collection of older Mac OS install CD's.

Any takers?

I would trade...   But, alas, I have no original System 7.6 CDs.   I have no original System software CDs, actually.   Well, I have a System 7.0.1 CD that came with my LC 575.   I have an original iMac System Install CD and Software Restore CD, too.   I have an original System 7.5 CD.   And I have all of the original System 7.5 Update CDs.   ie. Update 1.0, Update 2.0, etcetera.   Everything in between (Mac OS 9 on the iMac CD and System 7.0.1 on the LC 575) I have on Apple Service Source CDs.   That's the main reason why I almost never visit the Aple legacy software site.   I found that damn near everything on their ftp site is on the Service Source CDs...   And then some...   Like System 7.6, Mac OS 8, Mac OS 8.5, and all of the updates and other stuff.

Do you mean the OS8 CD is retail version or it is accompanied with PPC (i.e. the restore CD) ?

Can you send me a picture of that ?

Thanks.
