I have a PowerMac 6100 with an internal non-Apple CD-ROM drive which does not work in 7.6.1. I am wondering if there is any driver I can use to make it work. Any help appreciated!

You might have luck with FWB CD-ROM Toolkit, if you can find a copy.

Also have a look at this page:  http://www.macdrivermuseum.net/disk.shtml

You shouldn't admit to pirating software in an open forum.   It's like leaving a trail of glowing breadcrumbs for the Software Publishers Association.   Even though you're a small fish in a large pond, they could still target you just to make an example of you.   Like the RIAA does.
