Ok iam board so here is a list of every mac i own from the fastest to the weakest. 1. 17 inch PowerBook G4 1.67Ghz 2. B & W powermac G3 900mhz upgrade with 7000 radeon 3. 466mhz Ibook G3 SE Firewire. 4. Bondi Blue Imac with 333mhz board upgrade 5. 275mhz PowerMac 5500 with tv tuner and video upgrades 6. Powerbook 1400/cs 133mhz 7. Performa 578 full 68040 33mhz 8. Quadra 700 25mhz 68040 9. Performa 475 25mhz LC040 no video 8. powerbook 180c 33mhz 030 has boot problems 9. powerbook 170 wont boot 25mhz 030 10. macintosh classic II 16mhz 030 checkardboard pattern at boot 11. macintosh LC 16mhz 020 runs fine. 12. Macintosh classic 8mhz 68000 runs ok screen is dying i think 13. macintosh SE dead for now. I probably have more that i can't think of right now. |

My list is too long. With non working Macs, its very likely in the 90s.

My list is very short. I have one working Mac and one non-working Mac. The working Mac is a Quadra 700. The non-working Mac is a beige G3 desktop.

I am pleased to report that I am once again the proud owner of two working Macintosh computers. My beige G3 desktop machine has returned from the dead. I forgot how much I really enjoyed typing on the old Apple Design keyboards. Hard to believe that I paid over a hundred dollars for this keyboard more than ten years ago, but it was worth every penny.

Performa 600 (32mhz 68030, 20MB RAM, System 7.1P5, etc) - finally working great after a system cleanup and replacing the PRAM battery Gateway G6-450 (450mhz Pentium 2, 320MB RAM, System 7.5.5) - wait, how did this get here? This is my "other Mac". Ha ha, emulation. (It runs faster than the P600, that's for sure) Yeah, my collection of Macs is rather tiny, and one of the two isn't even a Mac.

Emulators! on a wintel! oh my that’s horrendous! I feel sick. Please no more comments like that It is just to painful to read!! Think of us your mac family I feel like I have poked with a sharp stick. Michael

my list is short also mac II ci 500mb mac 7100 400 mhz g3 134 meg memory mac 7600 400 mhz g3 mac beige g3 366 over clocked blue and white 700 mhz 1.5 gig memory dual boot dual drives g4 quicksilver 1 ghz 1.25 gig memory dual boot dual drive all working 1 pII 400 mhz wintel not used I HAVE WORKING MACS all working

mac mini 1.42 ghz 12in iBook 1.42 ghz Grey iMac DV SE 400mhz Performa 6200 (my first mac) PB 1400c 333mhz Sonnet (built this one from my original 1400cs 117) PB 1400c 166mhz PB 1400c 133mhz PB 1400cs 117mhz built from left over parts from the other three All work. The 6200 is the only one that can't connect to the internet the modem died. But last summer it did surf at the 14.4 super speed it came with!

Ok, back after a long time. ;-) I have those Macs - working if not indicated else: iBook G4/800, 640 megs of ram, 10.3.9, not working more than about a quarter of an hour if at all, probably due to the logic board thing. Macintosh Server G3/300, 256 megs of ram, OS 9.1, ASIP 6.3 soon to come. Power Macintosh G3/266, stripped down as not doing anything at all. iMac G3/233, 288 megs of ram, OS 9.1. Power Macintosh 9600, 160 megs of ram, 9.0 with Apple Share IP 6.3 for testing purposes before installing ASIP to the Macintosh Server. After that system 7 will come! Power Macintosh 8600 with G3/400, 512 megs of ram, 9.1. My main Macintosh computer. Performa 5200, Mac OS 7.6. After updating to 7.6.1 I'll copy the system to the 9600. Macintosh PowerBook 5300 cs, 16 megs of ram, Mac OS 8.1, not working Macintosh PowerBook 5300, eight megs of ram, not working Macintosh Quadra 840 AV, 32 megs of ram, Mac OS 8.1. Macintosh II ci, 128 megs of ram, System 7.5.3 Macintosh Classic II, ten megs of ram, System 7.1 I believe Macintosh Classic, four megs of ram, System 7.1 Macintosh SE, four megs of ram, System 7.1 Macintosh PowerBook  (a 68k one), not doing anything at all.

Mac Classic II 10MB 7.6.1 Asante EN/SC scsi ethernet Only the 540c is not fully working. It powers on and boots up, but since the LCD is bad I'm waiting on an external video cable to see what's up with it.
