LibMoto and Speed Doubler are entirely different.  LibMoto is part of Mac OS 8.1, and is supposed to speed up specific Math routines on PowerPC processors, although there has been some question of it's value.

Speed Doubler speeds up 68k emulation on PowerPC systems, and is highly recommended (just for that).  There are some other features of Speed Doubler, but I find them rather useless and turn them off.

Please keep Mac OS 8 discussion to the Off-Topic area.  If you'd like, we'd love for you to come join Info-Mac, which is intended to cover everything Mac and Apple related, not just a particular subject (like System 7).  You'll also find a vast download library of over 9,000 items going back to the 1980s, as well as hundreds of discussion topics going back to 1997.

I knew that blasphemous OS 8 talk would get me in trouble sooner or later...
