Somehow the name of one of my disk partitions got trashed and system 7.6 will not let me rename it. I've restarted, rebuilt the desktop, even zapped the pram, with no luck. Any help is appreciated. |

Try starting with extensions off (holding down shift at power on).

That probably indicates you have File Sharing on and set to share that drive. I don't think you can rename drives when they are being shared.
