It's great to find this System 7 Today Forum, for it brings back a long-ago past that I've almost completely forgotten. I'm current with System 10.4.10 (Tiger) and an Intel Core Duo Mac, but I've never really thrown anything away over the years when moving from one system to another, and one Mac to another. Recently I uncovered two stored Mac PowerBook Duo 230 laptops, one Mini-Dock, 2 power supplies, several batteries (no idea of condition), external floppy drive, 2 AC adapters and chargers, various cords and connectors, manual, and many other accessories. Also stored in old floppy file drawers is software from that era, including System disks. I plan to sort everything out in time ahead and make a comprehensive list, then boot up both Duo 230s for the first time in many years. They worked when I put them away long ago, so unless inactivity has had an effect, they should work now (but probably the several batteries are dead--will see about that). My intention is to put the entire collection on sale in eBay, probably piecemeal, or perhaps in lots.
My joy at finding you prompts the question: Is there REALLY interest in these bygone operating systems, software, and hardware? Any advice how to proceed? Those were wonderful long-ago days of discovery that I'm remembering, and it's fascinating to learn that activity dating back to the early '90s still continues.
Thanks for your attention and I hope to hear from some of you.

There is interest and use  for old Macs, but no real  money is involved, unless an item is very rare collectors piece. We are talking of  money that will buy you and a lady a dinner.  Depending  of what you are actually selling will dictate will it be in Mc Donalds or in a real restaurant.

If you are not interested of using your old Macs,  leave  an add in S7T. I am sure someone would be interested. Just check the prices from Ebay beforehand.

BTW, I run a business using old Macs only.
