I want to get my ci running 7.1 I down loaded 7.0.1 but could not find 7.1. I have my original floppies some where but i would not expect them to work |

Apple has never made System 7.1 available for download. eBay or the LEM Swaplist would probably be the best places to look. The IIci would also run later versions of System 6 or System 7.5 which are available from the Apple download sites. bill

I don't think 7.1 was ever released as freeware, sadly. Same for 7.6.

In lieu of 7.1 (which, as dan pointed out, is not available as a free download), you can use gamba's procedure for producing a slimmed version of 7.5.x which gives you similar functionality, and a similar HD/ram footprint, as 7.1. See home.earthlink.net/~gamba2 for the details.

For future reference, this page contains a download link for 7.1 disk images, among many other things. That whole site's a pretty good resource worth digging around in, for those who haven't checked it out yet.
