Hi guys Very brief yes or no question. Is the PB140 HDD 3.5" SCSI? If so, can you transplant in a 160MB LC575 SCSI HDD? This is probably a terrible question but your help and suggestions would be suggested. Cheers Blake |

I had a couple of Powerbook 145 or 150s that I dismantled. The hard drive in them was about the size of a deck of cards. I don't think it was a 3.5" drive. It seemed too small to be 3.5". There's no way that the platter in a Powerbook hard drive is the same size as the platter in the hard drive of a desktop Macintosh. So are they both 3.5" drives? Well, if 3.5" means 3.5 inches, the answer is no. Just Googled it... The hard drives in PowerBooks are 2.5".
