Checking the browsers out. Straight out of the box Opera 5 renders only the Google add bar in S7T, the rest of any page is just white. What options should I choose in Preferences to make it play?

Maybe I need to clarify; Opera opens all kind of sites, but S7T. Any reason?

It seems that Opera doesn't like Google's JavaScript, which Netscape 4.8 ignores and iCab 2.9.9 displays just fine.

Maybe I can devise some trickery to not display that for Opera.  In the meantime I'd just stick with Netscape or iCab.

JavaScript

Thanks!

I disabled it:
Edit-Preferences-MultiMedia-JavaScript-Enable JavaScript

Now it shows S7T, while not necessary other sites.

Boys and girls! All together now: check-uncheck-checkcheck-uncheck-checkchekc. Can you feel the rhythm?

I still like iCab 2.9.9a for its speed, just chechecking stuff.

couuuuld be the case.

Gave the Opera a quick spin with JavaScript off and css on, it was like I had took handbrake off. It really flies now. Dunno 'bout compatibility, but I'll test drive it bit more, prob'ly.

Everything will be at least readable with CSS turned off.
