I have the 520 color laptop. I need to get the software for 7.6 (.1)? I have diskettes. I just can't find a place on the web where I can download it on to the diskettes. Any help? John |

That's because Mac OS 7.6 and above is not free.

As stated above, Mac OS 7.6 and higher are not free you must pay for them. Mac OS 7.5.5 and below are free, you can download it by downloading 7.5.3 here: http://download.info.apple.com/Apple_Support_Area/Apple_Software_Updates/English-North_American/Macintosh/System/Older_System/System_7.5_Version_7.5.3/ And the 7.5.5 update here: http://download.info.apple.com/Apple_Support_Area/Apple_Software_Updates/English-North_American/Macintosh/System/System_7.5.5_Update/ Although be forewarned, many things on this site require 7.6 and higher.
