what is the largest 50 pin scsi hd. I have ext 2 bay enclosure and was thinking about upgrading the current 700mb hd. where would the best place be to find one other than ebay. |

Of the scsi's I have seen, the largest have been 147GB (80 pin) and 73GB (68 pin). There are adapters available to connect these to a 50 pin connector. For 50 pin, the largest I have seen is 18GB. I am sure there might be larger ones available. I have no knowledge if using an adapter will give problems, but I did order one to change 80 to 68/50pin for possible future use, for the hefty price of EUR 5.99 incl s&h.
