I have used macs off and on since the 7th grade when my school was still using 7.6.1 on Powermac 5200's (this is 1999/2000 School Year) My current macs are None, until my new 1400c/166 arrives in the mail. I am intending to run 7.6.1 on it as long as i am able to.

Welcome to the System7Today forums and site. You will find lots of useful information on the older hardware and on System 7.6. The Powerbook 1400 is a popular Powerbook in these forums and you should feel right at ease.

A 1400 with a 166 will be a very good machine. You will find it to be a very fast and useful machine. Nice choice.
