Hi everybody, plase be patient with me, my english isn´t good, but I´ll try... My first computer (first of all) was a Power Mac 7300/180 that I still continue using without problems. Later I bought a Macintosh SE with System 6.0.3 (or so.. fanatic?, yes...), and a year and a half ago I bought a Power Mac G5 that I sold to buy another Mac in the next months. Imagine my situation, until 15 days ago I was using OS X 10.4.8 on a G5 and now I am temporarily with my old 7300. It has installed system 9.1 but it is quite slow. Looking for in Internet I found them and now I'm going to follow its advice. Now I know that Mac OS 9 isn't the best for this machine. The 7300 originally have systems 7.5.5, 7.6.1 and 8 original CD's. It has 160MB of RAM, 2GB HDD, 2MB VRAM and a 604e/180MHz CPU. I don't bore them more and I put myself to read this forum right now. |

At least, using Photoshop and lllustrator it's enough for me now... I cannot run Final Cut, but I´ll try Premiere... Now I´m looking for more RAM on eBay and maybe another HDD... Thanks again and we are in contact. Vicente.
