This is certainly an impressive screenshot, if I do say so myself. http://main.system7today.com/images/win2k.jpg All this on my now complete Power Macintosh 8500/120, which features a 400mhz G4 upgrade, a 10k Quantum Atlas hard drive, and 655mb of RAM. This is now my main machine for System 7 stuff. Exciting! |

Quote from: "dpaanlka" This is certainly an impressive screenshot, if I do say so myself. You do not mention and I did not see in the screen shot which version of VPC you are using. It is impressive that Win2K is running in emulation on an OS that is 3+ years older and a machine that had been discontinued for several years before Win2k was released. Old Macs are impressive machines. bill

If I remember correctly, the last updates to VPC 3 included altivec extentions to make the virtual machine run faster. Have you considered picking up a cheap VooDoo 2 card and trying some old Windows 3d games thru VPC? Alays wanted to try that myself.
