I feel like @cballero when it comes to Mortal Kombat. Too much gore. Street Fighter felt superior in terms of gameplay. Mortal Kombat always felt like a Marketing pitch towards 15 year old males. ("oh look, it's super gory. If you play it, you are super mature mmmhmmm") |

Anybody played Golden Axe? in the last 3 days ive played the first using Mame and Kega the revenge of adder using Mame and 2 (currently working through 3) not sure if there is any beyond that

I remember when Mortal Kombat came out. It was QUITE controversial at the time! When I think of Golden Axe, I always think of its brothers Altered Beast and Shinobi. In the arcades they used the same hardware, I believe, and the Genesis ports were quite good. But do like it -thanks for sharing that link ![]() @Bolkonskij Great 'technique' ;-) @snes1423 Golden Axe from Sega 1989 looks good, same mechanism used in Double Dragon. I can't recall if I ever tried that one, some of it seems familiar. Thats' another one never ported to Mac. @lauland Literally laughed out loud -Fishy Time!
