This morening when I clicked the bookmark for the forum I arrived at the Forum page, but this text was displayed at the top. = 100){ ctMouseStopData(); } } } //Stop mouse observing function function ctMouseStopData(){ if(typeof window.addEventListener == "function"){ window.removeEventListener("mousemove", ctFunctionMouseMove); }else{ window.detachEvent("onmousemove", ctFunctionMouseMove); } clearInterval(ctMouseReadInterval); clearInterval(ctMouseWriteDataInterval); } //Stop key listening function function ctKeyStopStopListening(){ if(typeof window.addEventListener == "function"){ window.removeEventListener("mousedown", ctFunctionFirstKey); window.removeEventListener("keydown", ctFunctionFirstKey); }else{ window.detachEvent("mousedown", ctFunctionFirstKey); window.detachEvent("keydown", ctFunctionFirstKey); } } if(typeof window.addEventListener == "function"){ window.addEventListener("mousemove", ctFunctionMouseMove); window.addEventListener("mousedown", ctFunctionFirstKey); window.addEventListener("keydown", ctFunctionFirstKey); }else{ window.attachEvent("onmousemove", ctFunctionMouseMove); window.attachEvent("mousedown", ctFunctionFirstKey); window.attachEvent("keydown", ctFunctionFirstKey); } I had not seen that before and perhaps it is just some oddity with Cyberdog, which I think is generally seen as an oddity even when it is behaving itself. |

Did you perhaps activate JavaScript in Cyberdog ?

It was probably just some odd quirk in Cyberdog. I have not seen seen it again. The added text appear when accessing the "Home" on the forum a few times over a span of about an hour and not since. As far as I know Cyberdog does not even do JavaScript. At least there is no option to turn it off or on. There are few things I find delightful with Cyberdog. Cyberdog is much like Acrobat Reader, in that it is simply a viewer only for OpenDoc documents. Which means there is really nothing to configure. I do not even think it does Java Script. One can select default text size and turn off displaying images. There other excellent aspect of Cyberdog is that for the most part it does not choke or hang up on contents it can not handle. It just simply ignores what it can not display. As far as I know the only plug in it handles is a Java Plug in and I have never encountered anything that has needed a Java Plugin. Contents that would be handled via QuickTime are simply passed on to the Quicktime viewer/player, which will open automatically to show that content in the QuickTime Player. A movie or audio stream encountered is just passed on to the application you have set to play it. It never did handle Flash. However it can at times be very quirky. I am not sure what version of HTML it was designed to handle, but when you get beyond what it can handle it will just dump out HTML as text.
