Well we had a bizarre weekend. Both our Dreamhost MySQL server, and the System 7-based web site server went down at the same time (a first for the System 7 server)! Because of this, both the forums and the main site (which are technically different operating sites) went down in unison. The System 7 server simpy had to be restarted (Power Macintosh 8100). That was a bit hard to do since I'm now back at Bradley University. The Dreamhost one was a bit different, with Dreamhost first insisting that the System 7 Today Forums never existed, but then finally coming around to fixing whatever problem they were having after like two days. Everything is back up and running normally now, though. Sorry for that. |
