Just like system 7 Mavericks is lightning fast even more so than mountain lion has great battery life and by far is faster booting up opening apps etc., and has game support up to 2019 however i found that on my late 2013 13" retina macbook pro using apps from late 2013-2014 (including browsers btw) and games from before 2012 gives the best experience heck i can even run 50 instances of system 7 in sheepshaver and i still have screen real estate after using switch res x and bumping up my resolution to 4K and bonus: no iCloud integration exists anymore Numbers was the last app to have any back in 2019 heck im even thinking of taking my mac pro 2013 and putting mavericks on it Let me know if you guys use Mavericks at all and if there is anything else i missed comparing it to system 7 and all its glory! |
