welp i just tried a new pokemon game and immediatley  off the bat the professor asks me what skin color i am something ive really never seen before and then later on in the game you as a 10 year old are dating a teacher and it just goes down into this rabbit hole of wokeness and not only that but it doesnt even run well on there own console yet on my mac pro with 6 cores! at least the remake of pokemon diamond and yellow were decent i first played a pokemon game when pokemon was just 17 years old as a franchise (i was 9 and just got my first game console a Game Boy Advance SP) and i played through both pokemon red and yellow then eventually i got pokemon saphire but one game i always wanted but never got for quite a while was pokemon gold i played it on PlayR (until that website was shut down by nintendo) i got in november 2015 shortly before i got my OG blue 2004 nintendo ds on which i played pokemon diamond (people overpriced the remake of pokemon gold/silver) and that was truly a great game eventually with my interest in my imac growing i begin looking into squaresofts titles and they seemed more interesting however just a month ago i figured out my macbook pro could play pokemonx/y and the hoehen remakes really well and those were really good too (still playing through the hoehn remake) and so i have returned to playing those games for now (that and halo CE) did any of you guys grow up playing either squaresofts titles or game freaks games? (i just beat the ff7 windows 98 release awesome game by the way) if so what do you think about the modern pokemon and final fantasy games versus what we had about a decade ago and may tidus make you laugh at my post ;)

Have you played PacWoman or Gay Queen Chess lately? :D

How about a round of vegan Donkey Kong or Jumper Frog where the amphibians get to drive the cars over CO2 polluting suburbanites (in electric vehicles of course)?

I for one welcome dark skinned heroes, but I'd love the greenish, orange or violet tinged variety even more. Gaming is supposed to be about fantasy and fun, about little escapes from nasty realities.

But nasty doesn't want you to escape, so here's a new game:

"Pick your gender for the day" - complete with scissors and duct tape (vegan tape, so no fowl may feel offended). ✂

Besides the regular Mac games, I also enjoy a good number of 8-bit Nintendo games in emulation that I still have cartridges for, Zelda for one. I can't say that I played the ones you mentioned though. Then, besides those, a few of the old Mame games I used to play at the arcades as a kid as well, and those never seem to go out of style! :D

I find that the older the games the simpler their objectives, but simpler in my eyes is just right ;)

Wokeness is sucking the very life out of humanity, a full on fun sponge. Like Dementors from harry potter. Blah

Race, colour wasn’t anything i ever thought about until this wokeness thing. I lived in london for 12 years (probably the most cosmopolitan city in the world) i never once looked at people for the colour of there skin or there sexuality, just if they were a nice person or not. As for games yes it’s escapism and should be anti political correctness. I want the weirdest green alien from someone’s warped mind.

Some of the level boss’s in platform games we’re pretty epic in the 1980/90s

They are about to outlaw daytime advertising for chocolate, cakes and other sweets here in Germany. As usual its supposed "to protect the children" (this time from obesity).

Yet they broadcast lengthy advertisements for dildos and all other sorts of "self-gratification aids" - we don't want to discriminate - even at 12 o'clock noon on Sunday.

So you won't be able to stream or broadcast snippets for chocolate bunnies anymore, but promoting "yank-off aids" during kid hour is perfectly alright.

And to make the confusion complete, spots like this here 250 pound ice skater are broadcast daily as part of corporate PC "value messaging" against body shaming (and to sell female hygiene products).

All nice and dandy. But how do you square trying to outlaw sweets in the name of fighting obesity with promoting the role model of a morbidly obese "elephant swan"? Either being overweight is bad for you or its all just about feeling good the way you are and anyone who says different engages in body shaming.

But trying to make sense out of it all will only give you headaches.  All we can do is retreat into inner exile and let the world go mad around us.

Completely the same in the uk. The entire of western society has gone completely nuts. Common sense has gone out of the window
