I regard File RoundUp "best of breed" as far as file utilities are concerned, even superior to File Buddy.

How fast can it compare 106k files with each other to scan for duplicates?

Roundup took less than 10 minutes for that. That's close to Bleachbit speed on a modern day Linux Desktop!

Hi 68040,
Thanks for pointing these softwares, I've adopted Synchronize Pro, and regularly check your recommendations.
But please, what is "phussa" ?  I know I'm thick and can't find this one anywhere... :p

Now I always considered the bare-bones find utility FastFind from Norton Utilities to be pretty speedy in searching for files, but this super tool sounds darn fast as well. I wonder how they would compare with each other in a search?

Have you ever tried it? I believe all versions of the Symantec's suites had it as part of their tools.

I dislike Norton on 68k, because they won't fully support HFS+.

File Buddy is darn fast, too, but has a very cumbersome user interface. Roundup offers the best of two worlds here.
