It might not be OS7 but 8.6 is close and the performa 6360 is creaping up on 30 years old now. It is pretty amazing that sites like this still support our hobby. I used to log in to this site with a performa 630 but that was long ago. Thanks for continuing the support for us crazy old Mac lovers. Daniel |

Welcome K6YIC & Performa 6360 (does it have a name yet?)! Yes, we're happy System7Today is still online! Should be getting close to 20 years of existence soon! Your Performa can still browse quite some pages. The problem is usually to find them. Check out the thread on "websites that work with System 7" in the software board. And if you're looking for some extra speed while using the Performa, go ahead and install System 7.6.1

The 6360 was our family computer for quite awhile, and was our first to get internet over ethernet! I believe we installed Mac OS 8.6 at some point on that machine, but we started off with the default installation (7.5.1), the discs for which I still have in that red plastic booklet that came with it (though the machine is long gone, sadly). It was a great little computer.
