- Pict will not work on the web.

- Use either jpg or gif

- Make sure Photoshop exports it really as jpg and not a photoshop file with jpg suffix.

- Photoshop had traditionally a focus on printed materials, not web. Adobe later published "Image Ready" for web compatibility, not sure about PS 3.0

- You could also try GraphicConverter, which is - despite the name - a very neat image editor that plays well with web graphics from Germany. Using it a lot for web graphics, e.g. here on S7T.

Your page references the image

http://home.macintosh.garden/Adobe/Photoshop/Samples/lol.JPG

There is nothing there, and it doesn't look right.

Did you really create all those folders for Adobe/Photoshop/Samples?

I would be expecting something like
http://home.macintosh.garden/~snes1423/lol.JPG

Also check capitalisation.

I use GraphicConverter too. It's not perfect (it can freeze) but very useful, and much cheaper than Photoshop.a

Your link paths are all wrong.

<img SRC="../../Adobe/Photoshop/Samples/lol.JPG"

Would give you two folders under this URL:
http://home.macintosh.garden/Adobe/Photoshop/Samples/lol.JPG

Like this:
http://home.macintosh.garden/Two/Folders/Adobe/Photoshop/Samples/lol.JPG

Check your code. Where in your webhosting folder is lol.JPG located? in the root of the folder? Make the path like this if that's the case:

<img SRC="lol.JPG"

Or if you have a folder called "images" within your webhosting:
<img SRC="images/lol.JPG"

Am I too dumb to click on a link? I only get "404 Not Found" errors here.

For the same reason as I mentioned above.

This seems to be the correct path for the blog:
http://home.macintosh.garden/~snes1423/blog.htm

snes1423 need to look over his or her link code and all will be well :)
