We've been discussing before how underestimated Hypercard was/is - and how easy it is to program stuff compared to e.g. bare-bones C / Pascal and CodeWarrior on System 7.

Someone went along and started a "proof-of-concept" project on creating a classic Dungeon Crawler-esque RPG entirely in HyperCard.

He uploaded his works to the Mac Garden. This might be particularly interesting if one of you ever wanted to create something like that yourself? Or maybe get in touch with the author and team up on it?

Hypercard is just a very capable tool for creating turn-based games of all sorts. Makes me happy to see people are still using it to create stuff. It's definitely high-up on my wishlist to create something meaningful with it too :-)

Oh I love that! I've always thought it'd be interesting to write a visual novel or similar in Hypercard. I'll have to take a look at it when I get the chance!
