Many of you may be familiar with our "Why System 7" page. In fact, it's one of the most popular pages by visitor numbers. Yet, it was still having the content that Dan Palka wrote back in the 2000s. The wheels kept turning since then and System 7 Macs aren't likely to be found in student dormitories anymore. Rather, you'll find them with knowledgable nerds like us, who love tinkering with our good ol' gear and who are adventurous enough to explore all possibilities in order to maximize the use. Thus, I've wrote a long due update: (still contains a lot of Dan's original thoughts which still apply today!) http://system7today.com/whysystem7/ What do you think? Did we cover all the reasons for using System 7 in 2021 or did we leave anything out? |
