Yes. Search for a program called "Basilisk II" It will emulate an older Mac on your new Mac, onto which you can Install Mac OS 7.1 - Mac OS 8.1. It's kind of like Virtual PC, only for Mac OS 7.

Thanks I downloaded all 19 parts of System 7 from apple. How do I get Basilik to boot from them?

Quote from: "adamb10" Thanks I'm not sure. I deal with Mac OS 7.6.1, which is not downloadable for free. You usually only find Mac OS 7.6.1 on CD. However, I'm sure there's lots of information if you Google it.

Having access to a classic environment would probably also be helpful, as I don't think OS X's Disk Utility will allow you to create floppy disk images, which would be helpful.

I wish I could say, but I don't have much experience on this topic. Perhaps in the future (near, hopefully) somebody will join this forum that does.

Yeah, I think Basilisk II is the only way to run OS 7 on any newer Mac. Although, actual OS 7 Macs can be had for super cheap (less than $10) and are easier to use.
