Hi, I've always loved the Classic Macintosh OS, and I'm glad there's still a semi-active community for System 7! I Currently have a Macintosh LC 520, and I may soon be acquiring a Mac SE. On the Powerpc Side of things, I have a Umax SuperMac c500, though its in a bit of an odd situation. I've also a bunch of Newer G3,G4, and G5 Macs I have acquired, though I don't believe any of them are capable of running system 7. System 7, and classic Mac OS is a joy to use. I'm so accustomed to it that on my Main computer, a Dell Running Linux, I've configured the desktop to appear and function just like the classic mac OS! I'm curious, does anybody have any idea of how to make System 7 a bit more usable in day-to-day usage? If I could use the older computers for all of my tasks I would! Thanks all, and I'm glad to be a part of this community! |
