Hi!

I'll have a Macintsoh Performa 5200CD, now it's running Mac Os 9, but I heard it's not great with that 'cause it's slow. I need minimum os 7.6.1 to run the a sofware what I need. So, my questions is, do you think I need to reinstall to 7.6.1 'cause the software what i need to use requires 50,1 MB of ram.

Thank you for answering: Tristan

Yes, whichever route you go, you will need to reinstall the system software. If 7.6.1 is the lowest you can go to run the software you want, it seems to be the best option. Discs can be hard to find.

I've got a 5215, and it is a problematic machine. But it's useable and fun to tinker with.
