Hi all,
This is Thomas from Belgium. Let me tell you my MacStory...
My dad bought a Quadra 840av in 1994 to use in his office as a medical doctor. Naturally i was drawn to this fabulous machine and kept messing about when he was not home. A year later he bought a Powerbook Duo (which was stolen from his office a few months later.) When my dad grew weary of my infernal experimenting and game playing, he bought a secondhand Mac Classic 4/40 and a LASERPRINTER for me. Initially I was disappointed by the downgrade. But still the machine gave me hours of pleasure (chipmunk basic anyone?). On the game side it was rather meager: At the time there were very few stores who carried mac gear and certainly no games that ran on my poor Classic. Luckely I discovered the early internet in a CyberCafé so I could download and install some abandonware and shareware. A year later I bought a secondhand Amiga 500 which I could get kazzillions of games for. Around the year 1999 I got a free IIci from someone. And I enjoyed setting up Appletalk networks and doing all sorts of stupid shit. Later on I lost my interest in these old Macs and told my mum she could take them to the skip (The classic had also died, but now I think it was probably just bad capacitors.)
My dad and I have this system that I always inherit his old computers (currently my most modern system is a CUBE G4,when will my dad grow tired of his G5?).

Through this system I am the proud owner of:
A TAM spartacus (Yes, my dad bought it full price!)

A Powerbook G3 233Mhz (My dad got this one for free from Apple because the TAM logicboard had been replaced three times!
This is the Mac I got most joy out. I lived through my student years (2002-2006), went to Syberia with my girlfriend who wrote her thesis on it (2007). Helped me in my previous job as store manager (2008-2010). Currently it is left behind their and they still use my excell for making work plans.
And now I have the Cube.

Since September I have a new job and follow evening school java coding. And so my interest peaked once again for old school macs. A week ago I bought the following for the princely sum of 50 euro:

Takes deep breath
LC460 (yay always wanted an LC)
IIci (once again)
Powermac 6100/60 (can't boot this one with the weird monitor connector)
Powermac 8200/1200
Powermac 7200/90
Powermac 6400/200
Powermac 6500/275 (same as my TAM)

I'm probably only going to keep the LC460,IIci,and 6500.
Believe me, I'm pushing my luck here with my girlfriend in our small apartment.

It really feels like coming home! O how I prefer system 7 over OSX! I still now all the tricks and stuff.
Well enough jibberjabber for now!

If you want an adapter for the 6100 video, I have an HDI45 <-> DB15 adapter that I'm not using.  Would go pretty cheap.  PM if interested.
