Has anyone managed to get OS 7.6.1 installed and workign on a Beige G3? If so, how? |

Odd you should be able to run system 7.6.1 on a beige G3. It should run great actualy. You should consider buying an old beige g3 cd. Or use a Power Macintosh CD, Or better yet get a sytem 7.6.1 upgrade cd. Any way you shoudl be able to run sytem 7.6.1 on that computer easily.

A beige G3 cannot run Mac OS 7.6.1.

Minimum OS for this machine is 8.0. See every mac.com http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/powermac_g3/stats/powermac_g3_266_dt.html
