Hi, Has anyone been able to make AIM 4.3 run on 7.6.1? I'm running a PowerPC 5400/200, fresh install of 7.6.1 from CD. AIM installs fine, the context menu and menu bar extensions load, but when launching the app it fails due to an unexpected error. I read somewhere that it requires at least 8.x to work, but then I saw another post on here from a few years back where someone had it on a list of their software currently in use on 7.6. The reason I'd like to stick with 4.3 and not an older version is because this is the version where buddy list sync was introduced, and I use AIM on 2 to 4 different computers during the week. Any ideas? Thanks! |
