Ok! So I run an apple iMac PPC G3 350 Mhz, and I wanted to know how I can make view my websites, Using my Ip address. Because, I tried it once with a friend in another computer (Windows Xp Pc) and it dint work, does that mean my server is not PC compatible or my ip address is locked? |

Well if your friends computer is on a different network, you're not going to be able to see any web page using your Mac OS X computer's local IP address. If you go onto your Mac OS X computer and type in it's local IP address, you should see the page. Any computer outside your network needs to know your network's IP address, and your router (if you have one) needs to route requests to port 80 to your Mac OS X computer. Once you have that all set up it should work from anywhere in the world. You can find out your network IP address by going to http://www.whatismyip.com If you tell me what brand and model your router is I can probably come up with some easy to follow instructions for you.
