I recently got a Macintosh LC II from eBay after waiting 2 1/2 weeks for it, and lo and behold, NO SOUND! I've poked around inside, nothing seems to be unplugged, it boots fine, I've gone into the Sound CDEV and turned it all the way up, but still NOTHING. No startup chimes, no error beeps, nothing. What say you, S7T?

There should be sound regardless of whether Sound control panels are installed - they simply control the volume setting.  Have you tried plugging in external speakers?

Yes, I plugged in my headphones, but not powered speakers. The powered ones are attached to my PC. Could it have anything to do with the 3.3v battery inside; because I know that's dead.
