I would like a wide format plotter that runs in classic os it would be nice to operate in 7.6 but not mandatory.

i have been trying to understand how plottergeist and power plot work. But how do you connect to the plotter it will not likely be scsi?

MircoSpot the makers of MacDraft created plotter drivers for use with MacDraw and they were included with MacDraw. I think if you dig through their site you will still find the old package.

It is probably no longer available, but you might find information about supported plotters and connection methods. We have some big HP plotters at work, they are not used with Macs, but when I installed them I did notice that they have a serial port, so in theory anyway they could communicate with an old Mac.
