I just jumped in with some questions, so I'm going back to start from square one. I'm Mr. Ksoft. I'm 15 and am pretty darn good with computers, although mostly on the PC front since I haven't regularly used a Mac since I was 5 or 6 when it was replaced by a big, bad, $3000 PC. The first computer I used was a Mac Performa 600 running System 7.1, which I used educational software, KidPix, and played Lemmings and Crystal Quest on. Even now it's the only Mac I own. I'm experiencing a bit of a new spark of interest in System 7, ever since I went and retrieved the P-600 on my own to set it back up in its former "glory". That and 68K Mac emulation make me want to actually work with the fascinating little OS. So I'm probably going to hang around a little, ask a few questions, and rediscover System 7. |
